First and last time I saw R.E.M. was in some
sh!te-hole in Newcastle, 1985. I was at the
front, someone managed to knock my glasses onto
the stage. Mr Stipe saw them just as he was about to
tread on them, handed them back, mumbled something,
then carried on mumbling to the music. Top band.

I used to like them when they did happy songs.

Most of their recent output (ie the last ten years) is pretty miserable IMHO.

Getting out of work last night was a righ PIA - I work at Kelloggs directly opposite the LCC.

Right, if you see a TVR ON THE ROAD, it means I am trying to get somewhere and not just stand in the middle and look at me as though I have no right to be there.

I was fuming at the idocy (no I cant spell) at some of the plonkers that were there..!
