Strange Behaviour...

Driving home from work in the MR2 when I find myself behind a Clio Sport, obviously with a bit of a boy-racer type chap behind the wheel as the registration was **** CUP.
As we approached a roundabout he signalled right and moved into the right-hand lane. I was going left. I passed him as I drove onto the roundabout and took my turn. I checked my mirror to find the Clio behind me. He must have cut somebody up to get there as there were cars behind me wanting to turn left.
He then proceeded to drive right up on to my bumper (although he backed off a tad when I mouthed 'feck off' in my mirror) until the next roundabout, where he proceeded to do exactly the same thing again.
Again he drove right up on my bumper until I decided to go along with his game, and left-foot braked along at about 40mph (daft really, I know, but he got the message) until I reached my turning. He then passed me, signalling right, even though we were on a single-lane road with nowehere for him to go. :confused:
I don't think he was being aggressive, but if he was looking for a bit of a hoon about he had a very erratic and strange way of going about it.

My mistake!
Three long eleven hour days in 26 degree temperatures... indoors.
It's just that, generally, people who have numberplates with their names on are flash gits, and people who have numberplates with the name of their car on are a bit boy racerish (afterall, there's a bit of boy racer in all of us... metaphorically).

I find clutch, idle while still rolling, reverse gear sometimes works.
Or try rear fog light.
Or try braking and indicating left while going 20mph so they can get past. Then do the same back to them!
What a bell end, simply going right then cutting people up to go left. Surely it's easier and safer to do a U and go right round and off the right exit!
