S Video connectors

typical for me nothing is as simple as it should be.

Trying to connect an s video (4 pin) output to a mini din 6 pin s video input. Output from a scart converter attached to the back of a freeview box.

Can't seem to find what I want via google and suspect that either [b]A.[/b] I'm looking or the wrong thing, or [b]B.[/b] what I want does not exist!

Can anyone enlighten me pleaaaassee...?

As far as i'm aware S-video should be 4 pin only.

A 6 pin s-video-like socket used to be on PCs for keyboards and mice etc before usb - www.packetradio.com/conns/ps2mini6.gif

I didn't think you could use them as an s-video input.

I see, the input is for this card which does suggest a 6 pin s video input, is this not the case?
