Strange but true

[scared but happy]

Odd story happened a few years ago.

Chatting away between friends we started talking about what frightened us as a small child I said there was this small figure sitting in the front room that had always been there as long as I could remember.
Small item made in Holland, if I remember of a child (girl?) cuddling a larger dog, never understood why just did, it just looked as if the child was very sad for some reason.
Anyhow someone suggested just for laugh why dont I bring this item next time as they would like to see it.
No problems I thought and after a while of chatted I headed back home. Looked on the shelf...

GONE?!

Looked around on the floor all over the place.
When mum returned home I asked her what had happened to it.
"well, why do you ask"? so I explained the story to her.
"Funny thing is the cat knocked it down this morning and broke it. I had to put it in the bin it must have been there for at least 20 years"


Strange? Anyone else had an odd thing happen
