Just having a 'debate' on this as I like to have the odd pint or two and this seems a fairly normal thing in London anyway, but all the guys are saying women should NOT drink pints and if their girlfriend asked them for a pint, they would only get her a half. To me, this is just as bad as telling them what they can/cant say or do.

What do you all think?

doesnt bother me in the slightest.

I find the sight of a pretty young filly drinking a pint of best out of a jug quite appealing.

As Al Murray would say: "Pint for the bloke, wine white or fruit based beverage for the lady".

Seriously though, never had a problem with it myself.

I think... drink a pint if that's what you want to do. Just don't do it to appear a "ladette" or hard or whatever. If you see what I mean. I'd happily by MrsKnee a pint at the bar (as long as she gives me the money for it, like )...

Noooooooh!

Pints are for blokey blokes.

Why not have two halves and look sophisticated?

It's an old fashioned view, as either way, the missus ends up on her back in the bar singing "I will survive" before brining the whole lot back up in the car park:-)

I find the thought of a nice nubile young girly drinking a nice pint of wife beater quite arousing.

Not got a problem with whatever anyone wants to drink (as long as they drink responsibly). If Mrs S fancies cider when we're out, she'll have a pint rather than two halves (saves me a trip to the bar )

I would say an element of the situation should be considered. All in the pub drinking - why the hell not. Out for a nice meal with wine on the table and the Mrs racks up a pint instead - maybe.

It depends on the circumstances, if I was at a festival or something then yeah give me a pint. However, if I was in a posh frock then, for some unknown reason, I probably wouldn't order a pint. I rarely drink lager or bitter so it is mute point really. Hmmm, wine in pints - could get messy don't ya think?

Gemini, keep the photo to yourself, it was a one off!

Don't like women drinking pints. Or smoking cigarettes. Find both a complete turn off TBH.

In fact don’t like pints at all. Too cumbersome. I much prefer halves. Or better still, a glass of wine.

Don't see a problem with gals drinking pints.

Personally I don't drink beer. However, I'm pretty partial to pints of Smirnoff Ice, but that occasionally gets a bit messy these days, and at 6 quid a pint sometimes, it's never healthy for the old bank account!

Couldn't give a monkeys' if I'm honest.

At the end of the day, if a woman wants to drink beer, it's her choice. I'm not going to judge her based on her choice of beverage. Hell, I drink wine on a regular basis, much to the amusement of my mates.

If she is going to drink beer, it therefore makes perfectly good, logical sense to drink a pint of it as opposed to a half, as a half would simply neccesetate twice as many trips to the bar.

When we are in the pup etc,i drink pints (but dont try to keep up with my hubby)but would prefer my fosters in a can,(it tastes better)if i have wine then i pour it in a pint glass,so i dont have to keep pausing the film to top it up. BUT if we are at a restaurant, posh do or something like that then i will act the lady and have wine in a wine glass.

My lass is a pint drinker (amongst a drop of vino and the occasional turps ), never bothered me, especially as she's a good girl who knows when its her turn to get 'em in.
