It's almost 12...

Existance is suffering.

Try to make the most of it before you die.

That's pretty much how I see it. Some people think that's a bit of a sad way of looking at life but ultimately the human race is doomed anyway, so why not just accept our temporary existance on this planet?

Oh christ, do we have to go here? This could threaten to tip me over the edge!!

Am in midst of life crisis (again) today - and feeling like ranting very loudly about my lack of direction job/career wise... and what the hell is it all about? and why can't a woman with a really decent damn brain like me find the motivation to actually DO something with her life?!! GRRRRRRRRR!!

Kinda know what I wanna do (which obviously helps... right?) but have no damn idea how to get there... and wondering if too flamin old to start from scratch in this 'chosen' area....

But I CANNOT CONTINUE TO DO THIS MINDLESS DIRE CACK I DO EVERY DAY FOR MUCH LONGER!!!

GasBlaster - I often wonder about all this stuff, and so I attempted to study philosophy at uni (for a while).

load of codswallop. The only thing I learned was that many people got very famous for talking a hell of a lot of shite.

I left the topic well alone after I had confused myself to the wire.

If I hadn't made me, I would've been made somehow.
If I hadn't assembled myself, I'dve fallen apart by now.
If I hadn't made me, I'd be more inclined to bow.
Powers that be would have swallowed me up,
but that's more than I can allow.
If you let them make you, they'll make you paper-mache.
At a distance you're strong, until the wind comes
then you crumble and blow away.
If you let them you, there will be no foreplay.
But rest assured, they'll screw you complete til' your ass is blue and grey.
You should make amends with you.
If only for better health.
But if you really want to live,
why not try and Make Yourself?
If I hadn't made me, I'dve fallen apart by now.
I won't let em' make me, it's more than I can allow.
So when I make me, I won't be paper-mache.
And if I me...I'll me in my own way.
You should make amends with you.
If only for better health.
But if you really want to live,
why not try and Make Yourself?
Make Yourself.

Sorry - It's a cool song! But it's fairly apt!

I don't hun, I said in the midst of a life crisis!

But when I say I'm getting a bit old - I mean I'm getting to 30.... and I want to get into sales... and I can't be on 10k at my age, to start off as a Junior... you see? Have mortgage and zillions of responsibilities... and have no experience at all in sales....

FWIW, here's my take on things.

It is because it has to be and no matter how you want it to be, it can only be how the moment makes it.

You are not here to analyse such subjects but merely to induce the chain reaction required to gather momentum toward the ultimate goal, death.

Upon your death, a moment in time ceases for everyone else except you. For you will become one with the earth, from where you were created.

You will be back.

MY philosophy would be.

Live well.

Don't take work too seriously.

Enjoy the moment.

Don't follow the herds.

Drink real ale. It's better.
