I’m just listening to Lola’s Theme - Eric Prydz Mix. Top tune! Making me feel very summery That and Michael Gray – The Weekend – or whatever…

So Monsieur Plotloss, Wanty1974 and the rest of the PH DJ folks (you can’t believe how much of an urge there was to use the words massiv or crew there!) what’s hot this summer (and what is not)? Any top tunes or compilations? I need something fresh to acoustically enhance the driving experience on the way to Le Mans next weekend along with the rest of the summer .

Is Hed Kandi still the label to bank on?

Just bought the new Beach Kandi CD from Hed Kandi, top tunes in that and you can never really fail.
Also listen to Falling Star by Cabin Crew,

Currently in my DVD player is Tiesto in concert recorded last year in Holland and is just as stunning visually as well as aurally
My music tastes are going towards Trance more each day but i still love a bit of funky house
Hoping to go to at least one dance music festival this year and its looking like Global Gathering

I’m re-discovering songs from my youth that my parents played. I found out that quite a lot of the music my dad played in the car was from a bloke called Mike Oldfield and my mum used to play “The Police” on the way to the seaside. I’m fairly sure there was some Rod Stewart in there as well.

Yeah, I find Hed Kandi albums sound like any trendy bar nowadays.

Hoxton Wh0res are doing some cool stuff at the mo. And I was "down wid dat sheet" listening to the new Scratch Perverts album last night

If you want a popular dance music comp, the God's Kitchen one looks quite good.

Oh, and don't forget the Euphoria albums.

I hope psytrance picks up. I'm seriously getting into psytrance at the mo. Tuesday mornings always sees me looking tired because I'm usually up late listening to John Askew on Kiss 100 (London).

The early albums were the best, stared going downhill after the 4th one. The only exception being the first Hard House Euphoria one.

Fabric 21 - DJ Heather is quite good in a dubby underground housey kinda way, has a bit of acid thown in for good measure too.

Renaissance presents Pacha Ibiza will get you in the mood as well, even though it is 12 months old.

Craig W, you must mean "So Many Times" by Gadjo. It's tipped to be one of the big records of the summer.

Think it might be on one of the MoS compilation albums out at the moment?

I met one of the whores through a mate of mine (she's seeing him) and heard some of the stuff they're working on, I can't wait until it get released.

The Lego Boys is worth looking out for and I've heard a rumour that Rennaisance are remastering a load of old mixes (Sasha, Digweed, John OTPW, etc)and are due to be released within weeks.

Yep, first time I heard it was at Love Puppy @ Onanon a few weeks back.

Nothing beats balmy Sunday evening clubbing stood on a balcony overlooking Piccadilly Circus with great tunes.
