Flypast over London Saturday (Trooping the Colour)

Trooping the Colour Flypast next Saturday.

Comprising of..................

1 x C-17A Globemaster III - 99 Squadron.

1 x TriStar - 216 Squadron.
2 x Typhoon T.1 - 29(Reserve) Squadron.

1 x E-3D Sentry AEW.1 - 8/23 Squadron.
2 x Tornado F.3 - 56(Reserve) Squadron.

1 x VC.10 C1K - 10 Squadron.
2 x Jaguar GR.3 - 6 Squadron.

1 x Nimrod MR.2 - Kinloss Surveillance Wing (KSW).
2 x Tornado GR.4 - 31 Squadron.

They will be overhead Buckingham Palace at 1300.

Flightpath is usually form up over Southwold, Suffolk then fly over Ipswich, Boxted,(Colchester), West Chelmsford (Chignall Smealy area), Hainault Country Park, Fairlop station, London.

There will be spare aircraft (fighters only) flying down as far as Colchester. There will also be a Twin Squirrel operating (probably over London) as a camera ship and two 100 sqn Hawks as formation whips.

Anyone know the exact flightpath over London? I have to be at Biggin Hill on saturday at 14:00, but it could be worth going early.

They were doing a practice run using Waddington as Buckingham Palace.

Looked like a Dakota flying low over High Hurstwood today, did several passes, and was so low, that in Crowborough we were looking down on it!

Flew over Pinner at about 1308, I missed the first two waves but saw the rest, annoying as I wanted to see the Typhoons
