Went along to TP today, called in at the TVR stand, noticed the Pistonheads flag flying . Now I know only a couple of you know what I look like, but come on at least have the dignity to talk to someone who calls at the stand 3 times. This is now my second year of TVR ownership and I feel somewhat disgusted to think the appearance portrayed on the stand was one of Snobbery, and total disregard for the general public (yeah I know a lot of them can be a right pain), please remember some of these people can be possible future owners.

I did end up talking to one of the Car Club officials but only after saying "I've got one to, but it's at the dealers at the moment" the dealer in question being the ones in attendance at the show.

To say I am disappointed would be putting it mildly, come the August show I may not even bother to call in, No loss to you you may say, but it is a huge loss to me, I am a member of other Car Clubs and have never been made to feel like I did today, I'm sorry if I upset anyone by my words, but the truth has to be told.

Maybe it was the underpants on head / pencils up nose that put them off.....?

Sharon,

Sorry you feel this way. I was not there today but I will be tomorrow with my car. I am certainly not a snob and am more than happy to rattle on about cars n stuff.

Yeah but at least then I could have said who I was when I came home . I love my car and would willingly talk to all and sundry about it, being able to talk to more likeminded people would be the icing on the cake (having done this for years with our other chosen marque). Like I said I know I'm new to TVR and the club, the difference can be seen when we attend FOS they are very welcoming.

I couldn't make it this year. Figured the uneven ground and a bust toe wouldn't make a great mix!

Went last year and must admit there was an air of "in croud" but I did get a sit in the old black tusks!!

Now the old chaps on the vintage stand were very friendly.
