I know. It translated "go fk themselves" to "go self screw" the other day.

All the Dutch people I know say fk as much as I do but I've never heard themn say self screw.

We say 'Fok'. Just because it's nice to say and short.

There are other bad words that Dutch use and they're short to.

I like the Dutch the most of all our European cousins. You tend to share our sense of humour and you tend to share our views on the Germans!

I used to run the UK for a big sportswear brand and at International meetings it was usually us and the Dutch guys at the back misbehaving like school boys and then racing our hire cars to Milan airport. If they were behind me at traffic lights they had the annoying habit of trying to shove my hire car over the line using theirs! My oppo in Amsterdam had a De Tomaso Pantera. He took me out in it one day and we reached, I think, 140mph on the motorway slip road.

Crazy people but great fun.
