Opinions sought on mp3 players

Matt would like a new mp3 player, so far we've looked at the Creative Zen (20gb) Samsung Yepp (20gb) Sony Vaio Port music centre (40gb) they are near enough all around the same price give or take a couple of tens. Anyone have any opinions on any of the above.?

I have the 40 gig Vaio unit which is very good. Has a touch sensitive navigation system and an excellent full colour display.

It's comes with some good software for "drag & drop" transfer of files from your PC direct to the unit. It automatically converts MP3 and WMA files to ATRAC3 which the units plays back as audio.

You can also use it as an portable hard drive and can store just about any file type on it. You can store and view pictures on it too.

Sound quality and battery life are excellent, though replacing the supplied earphones with some decent quality BOSE noise reduction ones is recommended.

All in all, very good bit of kit.
