For the Trance fans out there

Whilst looking for the Prodigy album with the Bucket & spade run track on yesterday, came across these 2 albums.

Armin van Buuren - A state of Trance 2005
Tieso - In Search of Sunrise 4

Go I mean GO and get them absolutely superb :thumbup:. Might not be a good idea to listen to them whilst behind the wheel of your P&J though :)

I'm a bit of an old git, but must admit, the faithless cd is marvellous.

Is that trance? Not sure, but a great cd.

Yeah looked at their greatest hits CD but having the albums already didn't see the point in getting it Is this their new one by the way?

I would class Faithless as unclassable, unique, but damned good.

I'm at that age where I'm supposed to call this music as a racket , but if the music's good why should it matter.

The previous "In Search of Sunrise" are good as well.
If you like that then I can recommend a lot of the Northern Exposure (Sasha/Digweed) and Global Underground series.

Their mix of the Depeche Mode track 'Enjoy the Silence' is superb.

Already got 1-3 along with the majority of the Magik Series, plus 2 DVDs, and noticed 4 yesterday, Bought an early Tiesto last year, you can hear how he's matured. I think I stand alone when I say Faithless are a bit predictable and dull.

I do listen to a lot of different styles of dance music and dabble in music production, which may explain why they come across as such. I just don't recall any of their tracks making me go "OMFG!". (Refering to their music not their live sets, of course, which I understand are entertaining.)

If you like In Search of Sunrise, check out the In Trance We Trust label. They have some really good CDs. Also check out some of the other CDs on Black Hole Records, the Majik series are stunning.

would'nt say that they've done any great trance tracks but the PVD mix of Take The Long Way Home is rather good. I probably should have bought the vinyl on saturday but chose not to

I'd say Salva Mea was truly epic as well as the very definition of 'trance' in the mid-Nineties, though.
