Oasis live on Radio 1

www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 have a link using BBC Radio Player to the live Oasis gig on Steve Lamacq's show. I'm listening to it now and it's a belter...if you like that sort of thing. Just fast forward to about 40 minutes into the show, just after the Noel and Liam interviews.
I know, I know Oasis are very much an acquired taste but they're rock and roll Man!

Have to agree, never really 'did it' for me, except their one blip, the excellent Supersonic, apart from that, they leave me stone cold, they're like a dodgy Beatles tribute group!
(Never really liked the Beatles much though, TBH, so I guess I'm in the minority!
)They've had their ups and downs but I think they're back on form. The Hindu Times was a great album (it's even better live I can confirm), and from what I hear, Don't Believe The Truth is as good.
Oasis were full of themselves after the first couple of albums, mainly because they were off their heads on drugs, particularly cocaine, which pretty much sums up why they thought they were brilliant whilst in reality they deteriorated.
If anything, it shows how drugs can destroy a career, only they've managed to rescue it. I hope they don't go back on the Devil's Dandruff TBH - we might not get them back again at all if they did.
