Breakfast in bed - Oh bless!

I woke this morning to breakfast in bed. Nothing too unusual in that, except this time it was my seven year old daughter who made it for me

It was completely unexpected and has made my year so far ok, so it was Alpen on a plate, a deep plate I'll grant you, but still technically a plate. I also got a full glass of fresh orange with no spillage whatsoever.

"I didn't make your coffee in case I burnt myself"

I really am over the moon this morning

What have your kids done that has had the same effect?

It's moments like this that make you realise why you put up with the rest of what goes with parenting

That's really sweet. I was greeted this morning by my 4 year old coming down stairs saying "mummy, stop singing, you're going to make it rain"
