far too many angry threads around, so here's a nice one.

Things that make you smile on a day to day basis?

Having a morning coffee in the garden with the missus watching the sun coming up over the Solent, birds on the feeders and coming and going from the nesting boxes......and rabbits eating the plants

The odd things here and there that people say about me that I remember whilst walking down the street often make me spontaneously smile and sometimes make me giggle. There's a mate of mine who does an impression of me talking about cars (that actually sounds nothing like me but it's still funny) and that always comes to mind for some reason.

Also, seeing a really nice car pass you by. I try to 'see' an interesting car of some sort every day, that brightens things up.

Seeing some everyday thing that you know would get discussed with vigour on PistonHeads.

Reading some of the comments on PH.

Other people smiling at me.

The sound of my Corrado VR6.

Pushing myself to the limit training (knowing that I look a complete fool.)

Cake!

Don't tell me you are the type to pull the covers over your partners head and yell 'get a whiff of that'...

Especially in the misses is in the kitchen which happens to be right below the bathroom. Nice quality sound echoes through all the floor spaces.

And NO Mrs Fish I don't push Mrs Thestags head under the duvet. She is normally someplace else.

Am I strange enjoying a jolly good trump in privacy

The reaction from the passenger seat when they discover what over 600bhp is like. Especially if I told them the car was pretty standard.
