Would you put your pc by your living room window. i have been given a bigger sofa which means moving my pc the only possible place is by the downstars window, my room is to small and the spair room has a lodger in it. My house is set back about 15ft from the road the blinds are normally closed so people cant look in would you be happy leaving your pc their?

Desktops are not really that nickable (compared with average living room electronics) I wouldn't worry any more than putting a nice widescreen TV in view. Decent window and door locks, sturdy doors, and a reasonable alarm should be all par for the course regardless IMHO.

Not sure about that, a 32inch wide screen CRT TV would require two people to lift it, mind you a pc is not easy as there are lots of bits like screen, hard drive, keyboard, printer, scanner etc

Occasionally, I'd like to throw my P.C. out the window.

I'd be more concerned about passers by seeing me browsing for porn!

If you care it is supposed to be bad for you (eyes) to put your PC screen by the window.

When I was a student my full tower case was my coffee table...

Currently rebuilding my gaming PC to act as a video recorder, converting from aircooled to watercooled to cut noise.
