Woman advice for saturday night - for a friend

I got this from a friend. I don't need the advice, I am settled...
Right here is another situation for you.
This weekend was going to be pretty much straight forward, pull Ethel tonight at black tie do (not difficult, plus always end up pulling each other)
That's not the problem, I have just been told (last night) that Deidre is now going (not expected at all), her mates have been asking if I am going to try and go for number 2 (2nd time) which they wouldn't usually say unless there is a possibility that I am within a chance of pulling her tonight.
To make matters worse I have already agreed that Ethel can leave her car at my place, so she can get changed into her Ballgown (otherwise she is driving from Glasgow wearing it), so we will be arriving to the dinner together, which could put Deidre off completely (can you guess which one I would rather have yet).
What to do??
Advice to give him, guys?

He'll no doubt be laughing when he sees this, as he sees me take the brunt of stick, when he is the great slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag. I'm engaged and set to marry in August. I wouldn't be posting this kind of post if it was me!
So yes, he is a slaaaaaaaaaag. But he admitted that to me a few minutes ago. But advice is appreciated - ideally he wants to pull both and not upset either. The threesome idea I suggested in jest was immediately rejected however.

lol - just the kind of responses he would have hoped for. I have told him that Uni was several years ago -that he needs to move away from their to stop thinking like a student. He may come round to my way of thinking -perhaps I am just being an old fart? Nope, being a student is fun, but I wouldn't want to be one forever...

Cause of what Ethel has been through, that is why I agreed to the starting at my house, couldn't say no without feeling guilty?? Otherwise it would have been a bunch of lads turning up.
Why is it student thinking??
Ethel is not in it for a relationship and happily admits not being able to stay faithful for more than a few weeks, besides shes more of a friend now, its just that Im turning up with her that could put Deidre off cause of the past I have had with Ethel.
Don't suppose you want to admend the thread to mention the info so at least they can give decent opinion instead of thinking Im two timing Ethel.
Plus its a friday issue!!"
