How the hell can ITV be saying that Labour have won at 10pm????
Whatever polls are out there - they don't know!
Please don't tell me Labour have got it??
Nah, aliens, holding hands with Lord Lucan & Elvis Presley will land riding Shergar. (That's slightly more likely than any other result than a Labour victory)

exit polls.
people as the voters as they leave the polling station who they have voted for.
Labour are unfortunatley in the lead in the exit polls.
Another 5 years of misery.

You obviously weren't around in the seventies. That was misery. Truth is, things ain't never been as good. (But I'm not saying that's down to the government)

BBC saying it will be a government with the lowest level of popular vote ever...
Good be in for some amusing times in Westminster
Yeah. The best hope we have is that Labour will have tiny majority - and will have a miserable four to five years of being able to fnurk all.
Now *that* is a fate they deserve. Dying to introduce yet more stupid legislation and completely incapable of getting it through...
Fingers crossed for a better result than that but I'm not holding out much hope.

I agree with that - at least Labour won't have it all their own way on this term. Obviously Brown will be PM in a year or so. I just hope the Liberals don't do well. They're worse than Labour.
So then, most people I have spoken to aren't embracing a Labour future.
Does anyone else think that Conservative's open policy on immigration has worked against them?
I agree with the policy but given that the number of current voters of migrant families has dramtically increased over recent years, these people would not support such a policy.
Just a thought??

I predict Gordon Brown will replace Tony Blair as leader within 2/3 years....
Whatever you think about Blair, to win three General elections on the trot is no mean feat.........
I think the Conservatives are destined to spend the next few years in the Wilderness, unless they can come up with a strong charismatic leader in the Margaret Thatcher mould, one thing is for sure, the knives will be out for Michael Howard now.......
