Just saw the Guinnes one again.... The one where the snail is sat on the starting line and shivering... Suddenly it sneezes and shoots back about three inches. Pure genius

I must have been chuckling for a whole five minutes after that one...... What's your favourite?

Talking of Guinness ads, I find that self-parodying 'Extra cold' one, with the surfers and the Leftfield tune, 'Tick followed tock followed tick followed tock", then they get to the water, find it too cold and run away.

Of recent adverts, those Virgin Mobile ones with the hapless rappers were rather funny, especially when he's fiddling about with the buttons on his remote control, or the one where he goes to the toilet on the plane.

Guinness use some of the very best creatives and designers in the biz....the early mad dancing one with the guy who was a ballerina was brilliant.

The SurfHorses is axcellent also.

One of the best I ever recall was made in the mid-late 80's for the Peugeot 205XS, it was a long advert which is why it was probably only shown a few times on TV, bt I think it was shown in the cinemas more.

It had a "gang" of black 205's burning around the American mid-west much like a biker gang, performing all kinds or trick driving to a rock type soundtrack.

At the finale, the lead driver got out to show she was a real hottie in a black biker jacket, then turned her back to the camera to reveal Peugeot 205 written in diamond studs....

Anyone else remember it?

Hmm,

Pity Guiness ripped off others work, the dancing man being the one in question....Not very nice practice IMHO

I like the one with Karl Howman in, where he's cleaning the car and starts daydreaming about driving a lambo with some hot chick, then his mother in law brings him back to earth with a grating, Pete, Pete.

Quite amusing.

I can only remember two programs, Brush Strokes and another where he was meant to be an angel looking after some biddy. The latter was crap.

Some of those Carling Black Label ads were good 'uns.

I still like the one where the child is on the swing, he kicks dad in the knackers, who falls to his knees and dispatches him to a kick to the head on the next swing.

Must be a bad advert as I can't remember for the life of me what it is supposed to advertise.

Like that ;atest Grolsch one, with the Grim Reaper sat cracking open a bottle in the corner of the room while cradle-snatching groom gets to grips with his hot wife.

The Monster website adverts. The guy trying to pysch himself up to be a tiger to set himself up in front of his supervisor for the annual payrise. He comes in growling instead

Wasn't it Murray and Damon with Damon doing a Hunt impersonation...?

Also...

"Wardrobe Monsters" - John Smiths

6 Million Dollar Man "Nanananana" - IBM Thinkpad with Biometrics

There's loads I'll never remember.

Always liked Rutger Hauer Guinness ads.
