After 9 years at the same place I am more than ready for a change of scenery

Mind you, I wonder how long before I feel I need to go back to work

5 days to go here, and then is off to pastures new, who else has a count down running? April/May is always the time for a move for me.

Nice one Fishy!

I'm off for a week after today and Mrs Lazy will be finishing her job (after 15 years) in a few weeks, in preperation for the Junior Lazy to be born.

Yup - 4 more working days to go, 1 week of holiday and then I start a top new job down in Essex - I can't wait!

All the very best.

A friend of mine, who had been adamant that she was going back to work etc., recently realised that she'd had more of her maternity leave than was left (i.e. more than half way through)... and almost broke down in tears apparently!

Enjoy it... maybe you could start your own company. Doing what though... ... ideas, anyone?

I remember this feeling only too well. I couldn't wait to leave the job I was in at the time, it was stressful and if I had been able to, I would have jumped up and down for joy as I left the office!

Motherhood is most satisfying. Enjoy.
