EU vs.USA (Not a flame-just curious)

PLEASE understand, I am definately not trying to start a flame war with this. Honestly, some Swedish think tank wrote this. Personally, I find it a bit hard to believe things are as extreme as they paint it to be. Does anyone have any opinions regarding this. Again, I am not attacking, although I have definate opinions on socialism, I have no solid perspective on the EU economics as a whole.

The Swedish talking about taxes? I know they are hit more than others, but I thought all discontent was bred out of them by now.
