A friend of mine wants to borrow my Karcher Jetwash, but he has square taps in his kitchen. Has anybody got any ideas how to overcome this problem?

The karcher is connected to the 'standard' green garden hosepipe with one of these...

Yep, there's a gadget - probably by Hozelock etc - that looks like a connector but has a hole in one side and a screw top so it clamps over the tap.

A better route IMHO is to fix an outside tap.

I agree on both counts. Hozelock do have a solution but its cr*p and not much use considering the pressure that will build up - it will leak!

You can buy tap kits at diy stores cheaply enough and all you need is a 'big drill'.

Thanks Simpo.

It's more of an emergency thing in his case. (he lives in a flat).

You used to be able to get rubbery ones () that were tightened onto the tap with a Jubilee clip.Don't know if there still available though.

Thank you all Gentlemen. Just phone B&Q. They have the 'rubbery' ones in their major stores.

Hit your pal with a handbag and tell him to get some proper taps...
