Brilliant Peugeot ad

Given the recent withdrawal of a T-shirt by a retail chain after complaints that the "Drive it like ya stole it" message on it glamourised stealing cars (FFS!!!, Peugeot's new ad is sensationally brilliant.

Dad and small son in old Peugeot 507 pull up at kerb. Son dressed in stock burglar stripey shirt. mask and swag bag.

"I don't want to go. I won't know anybody"

"Don't worry, just do what I told you to do"

Small son gets out of car and goes into bank. Cut to ad showing how cheap Peugeot is and Dad's shock at the low price.

Small son runs out of bank with bag of money, leaps in and shouts "Just drive".

Cool. I laughed. However, the lentilist movement will create an outcry that it glamourises robbery and the abuse of small children so expect it to be banned soon.

This ad has been out for ages, atleast it has in the Anglia Region. You just gotta love Peugeot .

The first, second and third times were clever and funny. Unfortunately the ad just doesn't have the staying power, and it already bugs me!

Must admit the best bit of the Peugeot ads is spotting all the old Peugeots in the background. Look how many there are in the envy ad, where all the owners hide their cars.

Great to contrast with the Citroen ad where they hid the badges on a DS....

IIRC its justin timberlake.

They attached electrodes to him, got him dancing and transftered the moved to a computer that rendered the robot to the moves.
