My great grand-dad used to have a Rover 2000. Lovely car with full tan leather. Used to love going for a ride in it

Me too,
No other Rover has come close since.
The best P6, in my view, had the 2200TC engine in it. The engineering on those was top quality.
I drove one down to Italy and France way back in 1978. A great car!

Once drove a P6 3500S, manual box V8.

Propshaft broke behind the gearbox, nearly shat myself.

Thought I'd driven over a landmine.

Damn nice motor though.
