Have they made a definite commitment-or are they using wishy washy language.

If they've made a definite commitment then good on them-they are finally realising what is needed to be elected.

Troiuble is if they raise it to 80 it might actually get enforced.

They've said they will CONSIDER it for a year or two-always look at the language politicians use-make sure they have no wriggle room.

Good point ... though you'd need traffic police to do that ... unless SPECS is installed aross the network.

Yeah - Telling people what they want to hear and then conveniently forgetting to actually do it.

The Tories are an absolute joke. I wish they wouldn't talk out of their arses all the time because some of their ideas are actually fairly good ones.

And, I hate to say it, but there are far more important issues to be addressed than the upping of the national speed limit.
