After trying to open a new video Game without any scissors to hand it's got to be Shrink Wrap !!!

On a similar note those blister packs which I can never open without nearly removing fingers using a leatherman to open them.

Oh yes, by buggery. I designed a machine for nuking rats (cancer research, so that's OK ) and the whankstick who wrote the computer software concentrated on the end-user and didn't think that at some stage I might need to work on the b"stard (needing manual control for servicing).
Needless to say, this fickwit, having been paid for the job, is always too busy to come and make the changes I need...

Alarms for toasters. Why? They make enough noise when the toast pops up and if you're lazy enough to use a toaster surely you're lazy enough to be standing around in the kitchen waiting.
