Plan me a route

Need to get from Kent to Longleat

So far I have, A2/M25/M3/A303/A36

Now the A2 and M25 I know well, and would like to avoid, but the other roads, are they good driving roads or am I entering Scamera Hell?

The A303 is a nice dual carriageway most of its length-not that many scameras.

Yup - and the single carriageway bits are nicely broken up by short dual carriage way, just in case you get stuck behind something and can't overtake

Turn right off the 303 at stonehenge ,and get back onto the A36 via Chitterne , zap across the plains with relative impunity for about ten miles .(lokk out for tanks crossing though )

Think I've discovered that road once before, does it have speed camera signs but no cameras?

Towns? Always good to rumble through the Medway/Gravesham Towns, and the Medway Tunnel

But I reckon... A249 to M20, then M26 and get AA routeplanner to find you a nice burble through sussex and surrey... assuming your in no hurry of course

Also, can't remember the Road but the D/C towards Sevenoaks is nice, think its the A26 (?)

Just signs I think. Theres nothing permanent , but mobile occasionally ?
