No no, not that gun. The BB gun I picked up in town this morning for a few quid. Anyone work in an office which would tollerate small gang wars and capture the flag missions. Or praps just not fire you for shooting your unsuspecting colleagues?

John Lewis is doing a deal on spud guns at the moment. 2 for a fiver and because they work on compression you don't even need to buy any caps!

Currently doing wonders being used by my 9 year old to keep squirrels off the bird table

BTW Maris Piper spuds seem to work best with them. The consistency is much better than new potatoes for this kind of thing

Quantity surveyor at work has one.

I was bent over a drawing table (looking at drawings) with my trousers as tight as clingfilm on my arse. One of the other estimators saw the opportunity, borrowed the gun, and shot me on the arse cheek from about 2 metres away.

It shocked me at first, then the stinging sensation took over.

I used to work for a plant hire company. We had a large storage area full of racking with various different plant stored on it. We used to chase each other round the racking with a Gat air pistol. It's amazing what death-defying leaps people will perform to dodge a pellet up the arse.

my old housemate at uni did that to me just before I sat a 3 hour exam. I had to take the whole exam balanced on one cheek. Bloody uncomfortable it was too

i have a couple of fairly serious gas blow back pistols that fire bbs at circa 400 fps and have played last man standing with the only other guy in the office, great fun until you have to pick up the bbs aftrwards, especially when i brought my assault rifle in and 15 rounds a second it causes great hilarity but is bloody messy

We used to have a couple in our house when I was at Uni. Large Battles use to ensue all up our street when the light came down. But then we were told that they were illegal in public and had to confine it to the house.

Cotton buds fit very nicely down the bore of a .22 air pistol and will sting like buggery but not break the skin!

When I was on holiday, my brother in law and I got bored and decided it would be a good idea to buy some bb guns and shoot each other for fun.

In Palma in the summer it was hot so no shirts on, one shot at ech other accross the room and that was that it foooooookin hurt.

We decided to shoot drunk party goes after that.

My bro shot me inthehip form 4 feet with a Diana Model 2 when we were teens.
Luckily my belt caught it; even so I had to hide a bruise the size of a plate from my mother. I was working on her to let me have a rifle, and it wouldn't have been good publicity...

We got lucky (if you can call it that) when we moved house and found an air pistol (spring powered) in the loft. Cleaned it up (was very stiff to break), took it out into the back garden (backs onto a steep bank so no-one around to hit) and started shooting tin cans with shrouded hunting pellets. After about 20 attempts we were about to give up as the cans weren't moving - on closer inspection the pellets were going clean through the cans, through the fence (slatted wood) and burying themselves in the bank behind it.

Closer inspection of the pistol revealed that the original owner had fitted a heavy duty spring. Getting shot by it wouldn't have left a bruise so much as a hole!

If you want it to really sting, get a competition paintball gun, freeze a paintball or two, turn the power up to the point where the gun is 'hot' and then shoot your mates arse. The way he dropped though, I'm guessing it stings a bit more than a bb gun

If you tried that on me you'd find you have it turned on you with a perfect power shot right between the legs
