So he's out on parole, claiming he is 100% innocent and in a roundabout way likening himself to Oscar Wilde and Elvis Presley. Hmmm.
How the hell has he got parole if he hasn't declared remorse and if he is still claiming innocence. How?
There are people who have served full term because they would not move from their declaration of innocence. There are people still inside for the same reason even though they could now be out on parole.

For me it shows the idiocy of the early release program. WTF is the point of releasing someone less than half-way through their sentence as standard policy? I know it is politically expediant not to have to build too many more prisons but surely if you are sentenced you should serve what the judge intended, not get released early for "good behaviour?"

He can protest his innocence all he likes, but the judge gave him seven. That is a significant sentence, the truth is; most pedophiles do not get locked up for long sentences (excepting murder, violent rape, etc.), so the judge heard the evidence, the jury found him guilty. The judge gave him the time. He'll always be guilty.

He also was very careful to say he "had done nothing wrong" rather than nothing illegal. That is purely a moral judgement and as such, completely subjective.
I am not condemning him but there is a funny smell about this IMO.

The point was made in the newspapers yesterday that plenty of celebs and particularly rock artists indulged in sex with minors during the 70's, 80's and even currently. They got away with it because it was girls they were sleeping with. FFS look at Mandy Smith and Bill Wyman! How much of a dirty pervert do you have to be to get off with a 50 year old when you're only 13.
I recently read of a case where a local prison govenor, who was now 40's, was being charged with indecency with a 15 year old. The weird thing was, he was only 15 at the time himself. The wole thing was almost 30 years ago. The other guy admitted that it had been consensual at the time. However, he had now had conselling and was appalled with the other guy for doing it to him. I did not find out the result of this case but feel that it was a total waste of time for the courts and police. I could not believe this made it to trial.

Attitudes like this make me angry - he's been to prison, had an appeal upheld and was on the news earlier declaring his innocence in his own mind.
He's a sick man, so of course he did nothing wrong.
Facts point to him being a monster.
The bloke was blatantly ignoring the evidence a la Myra Hindley. Brady on the other hand, albeit insane accepts full responsibility for his actions. King is in the vain of Hindley and so due to his lack of remorse could be labelled a psychopath and paedophile by his convictions. In my estimation, a psychopathic paedophile is likely to reoffend and furthermore, should be adequately punished. Justice as served by our courts does not often reflect the meaning of the word. If your emotionally toned "Mob Justice" takes place, personally I would find that more of a fitting tribute than half a pittance of a sentence. I hope the warders played "gladiator" with the bastard.

This could work both ways though.
Just because something is illegal it doesnt neccesarily make it wrong in peoples eyes and vice versa.

Yes anybody who has Kenneth Noye on his client list really is in the gutter with the scum.
Don't forget this is the Noye who was found guilty of the M25 Road rage murder, but was also accused of taking part in the Brinks Mat robbery, and also accused of murdering a police officer investigating him in connection with Brinks Mat. Lots more form besides.
He was out on the streets for so long and eventually aquitted following alleged skullduggery by corrupt Flying Squad officers and others after many brown paper envelopes had been involved, all allegedly.
Don't know how some people manage to sleep straight at night.
