Just had a big lump of Wensleydale and cranberry cheese on Ritz crackers and a bottle of 2002 Shiraz.

Life just doesn't get any better.

Cheese is just so good....

Wensleydale is a crap cheese. It has the same consistency and smell as well matured ear wax and fit only for feeding to cartoon dogs, who in any event probably lick their bums to take the taste out of their mouths. They've obviously mix in cranberries, chives or onion in an attempt to disguise this fact.

Besides which, it's from Yorkshire. As everyone knows, the only good thing to come out of Yorkshire is the road back into Lancashire.

What you need is some nice mature Lancashire cheese. Once you've tasted that, you won't bother with that Yorkshire muck again.

Aye, tha may be reet.

I've got a big lump of Lancashire and damson cheese sitting in the fridge waiting patiently to be scoffed.

I think I'll have a guzzle tomorrow night, by which time I shall have procured another dozen bottles of Shiraz....

Nice round barrelled Lemon you have there, Squire.

Is it a Mk1 perchance?

Pat,
I see from your profile you live in Lancs.
If ever you pass through Garstang, there's a cracking cheese shop in the indoor market on High Street. Sells lots of lovely, locally produced cheeses

I used to know Garstang pretty well, as Granny Heald lived there for many years. I shall have a look next time I am there.

I usually buy my cheese at the Hoghton Tower farmers' market.....

I see you have a V8 TVR and an old 328 BMW.

A man of taste, without doubt...

No, it's a 1981 MK2 LeMans, one of the last round barrels made. She's named "Lucia",& is part of the family.I wouldn't part with her for anything.

Ah, yes.

I should have spotted the square headlamp...

I quite fancy a Lemon. My cousin has one of the late ones with the 16" front wheel and the swoopy fairing.

Maybe when I finally finish the T160 I might be able to justify another bike.

Cheers
