I know this, let me give you a clue - "days of the week" and "months of the year". Think about it.

no as a clue numbers in this sequence will only ever be 1's, 2's or 3's at least for the next 4 lines in the sequence that i have done before i got bored.

I thought so. Snag is, it's not so much intellect as having seen similar things before, esp as it was non-mathematical.

Beat me to it...it's a bit of a trick as the row below counts the incidences of numbers in the row above
