Picture this folks, interested in ph open minded views (rather than my cynical copper mode).
Chap , 34, wife 2 kids, bit bored but generally ok.
Wife, damn good mum, lovely person, not too glamorous, and a bit worn down by family life.
Interesting bit...
Female2....:24, good looking, fantastic figure, has a big thing for married bloke, and has a sexual appetite like no other...and a nice person too..
Now then, what's the advice folks, does blokey throw everything away and go off for the time of his life, to slink back later if wifey would have him... or will it be the new match made in heaven..or....Does he tell younger lady to leave him alone and stop being the 'evil temptress' and take his head out of his rear end, and if so, how to do this...
Oh yes, another little chestnut, they work together.
No, it isn't me, there is no way on earth something that good would happen to me, but I have already given my advice in relation to the matter...Interested to see how many give the same answer as me.....
I know in a perfect world both would work, but due to the amount of domestics I have attended unfortunately it doesn't happen like that.
tell me about it .... recipe for a lot of pain. bad enough if just married but when one factors kids in as well. ouch.
if it's a compelling "love" it is hard to condemn it - still painful for the family but maybe something that cannot be ignored. if its "lust" - well, that is perfectly understandable but we (us chaps) could spend our lives being dictated to by the one eyed trouser snake(!).
He's got kids and a nice wife so in my book he should stay put and count his blessings. If he's bored that's his fault and he should try and spice up his home life a bit rather than go off shägging. If I was him, the wellbeing of my kids would come before the wellbeing of my codpiece.
What's happening to me? I'm becoming some sort of sensitive metrosexual sort
Maybe he should ask his wife if this other bird could join in...

You got to have something left when the adrenaline high wears off; nothing stays exciting forever. If he has a good stable relationship with his wife and a happy family life, then he could do a lot worse.
If he needs excitement, he could do a sky dive for charity or something. At least his kids benefit from the insurance if he
s that up

I'd invest the time and effort that the 24yr old would require, in "improving" the:
"good mum, lovely person, not too glamorous, and a bit worn down by family life."
..a few days of pampering at a spa, some shopping trips for new clothes etc ..removing some of the burdens of being a Mum (i.e. doing some basic family chores that all us blokes comveniently leave to the fairer sex) etc.. and some nice meals out etc.
At the end of it the chap will remember what attracted him to her in the first place, and the 24 yr old temptress will be shown in a totally different light!
Also as an aside, the excitement of "thrill fo the chase" will soon wear off too.. after the first
with the young "lady", the novelty will begin to wear off... just think of what our man be left with afterwards.
ALL IMO

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the thoughts. All is pretty much fine in the land of Mr and Mrs A. We've had some problems here and there with Health and Wealth, but all is alright now. I think ultimately I just had to grow up to the responsibility that I'm a grown man with other people who rely on me, rather than just thinking selfishly about my own needs. I also had to realise how lucky I was to be with the person I married, rather than just looking over the fence to the suposedly greener grass that seems to grow on the other side.. once I'd cleared that hurdle and looked at the real depth of character of my wife (and indeed look again at the reasons why we got married) compared to the superficial nature of those who seemed to be leading me astray (in my mind only of course) then it was more of a battle Won than lost.
Armed with that it was actually a fairly short road back to the path of enlightenment and I would say we are as happy now as anyone can be. We are a lot more open with each other these days, and I think we both now try to resolve our issues together rather than stew over them alone, not that we seem to have had many issues at all of late.
Despite PH becoming a vast and sometimes brash and boreish clash of ego's its really touching to be remembered and I thank you again for that, I guess it was about 3 years ago now since my original post back when PH still had the "family" feel, its good to know most of us are still lurking about today and that the old spirit is still here underneath![]()
