Abseiling off Twickenham

On Sunday I shall be throwing myself off a perfectly good roof at Twickers with nothing but a piece of rope and inherent faith in complete strangers to keep my groundward acceleration survivable.
This is in an attempt to break the world record for most people to abseil in one day and to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

I've got more sense than you. I'll be doing a charity event in Twickenham stadium on Saturday by watching the Rugby aid match. Much less scary, more beer.
