When do the clocks go forward?

I'm sicked to death of the dark evenings. I know it's getting lighter in the evenings, but Spring time needs a bit of jump start.

I'm always knackered on the Sunday, because all the clocks need putting forward at 2am.

I think they should use BST all year round. No use having sunsghine at 6am FFS!

Or at least make the change a month earlier!

Apparently the reason is to ensure schoolkids can walk/cycle to school in the light year round (even in Scotland).

No, mine are bolted to the wall. However, they do go round and round.

It was originally so sheep farmers in the Orkneys could milk in daylight, or something like that.

In WW2 there was Summer Time (+1) in winter, and Double Summer Time (+2) in summer. Industry seemed to do pretty well on it, I think.

people work in the afternoon/evenings as well, your never going to please all the people all the time.
