C shaped washer thingies

Can anybody tell me what the litte washer things are called that are 'C' shaped and clip onto a groove in a pin and prevent the pin from coming out of it's slot.
The one I'm specifically talking about is on the thing that the blade of a jigsaw rests on.
Alternatively if anyone has a link to an exploded diagram of the DeWalt 321 Jigsaw that may answer my question.

circlips, you'll be wise to get a set of circlip pliers cos they don't have shift when you let go of em

The ones with cut outs are called E clips, just pop them off with the tip of a screwdriver and spend the next hour searching for them.

Yep, c shaped clips = circlips

Internal and external, variety of sizes. Local auto factor will have a selection plus the tools required to remove/install them

If you can't get a set of pliers lever it off with a screwdriver but throw a tea towel over the job, you stand a reasonable chance of recovering it when it flies off
