Just had some woman call me trying to sell me a subscription to "Modern and Mature" Magazine.

Only later did I find out it was a magazine for the over 50's

On the subject, why is it that there isn't a "modern and mature" mag aimed at all men. I'm fed up with FHM being the only thing to read other than car mags.

Have you actually read GQ? If you had it would be obvious to you that your attempt at a joke doesn’t work!

GQ is alright but it surfs that difficult line between discerning friend and up-its-own-arse-wankology.

When it was Quarterly, many many years ago it was a cracking read but I find that certaintly in the last few years its gone right downhill.

As for M&M, well I'm neither so thats that sorted...

Have to agree with you on that, but I find it one of the better reads. Arena seems to be getting better at the moment.

Arena had disappeared up its own arse for ages, but used to be a good read a while back.

I'll give it a go.
