Julian: I'm on Bond shortlist

Julian McMahon has revealed his is on a shortlist of two to become the next James Bond.

The Nip/Tuck actor said: "I met the producers for a final audition. They told me to expect a decision in a couple of months and they said it was between me and one other person. It's going to be a very nervous wait."

The other person in the frame is believed to be Clive Owen reports the Mirror.

The new Bond films, Casino Royale, will be released next year.

If this is true, who do you think it should be?

or Clive

Julian definitely has sex appeal and charisma, I would choose him over Clive. I do wonder whether this is true or a load of bull though, I guess we will have to wait and see

Johnny Depp! The ladies would lurve that; they don't care about literary authenticity when it comes to Johnny so long as he takes his kit off. But we guys would be shaken and seriously stirred.

Nope Johnny Depp is definitely not the right type to play Bond.

If it is just down to the two, Daniel Craig or Clive Owen, then it has to be Daniel Craig.
He was excellent with a hard edge in Layer Cake. I think Owen is too much of a woose (just my opinion)
I did send an application in to EON, but sadly they never replied

My wife thinks it should be Clive Owen. Me. I don't really know, well, I shouldn't really, should I.
I mean, how gay is that?

Is McMahon a US actor? And Clive Owen British? There's your answer right there if I understand it correctly!!

In fairness, this is a REALLY difficult choice for the producers to make!!

Haha! Erm, yes, well quite. I mean, cripes. The name? Well, of course it's er, well, most of the time I mean, usually that is, but probably not in my own sense of the er, word, but more in the style of an old Roman guard of the Emperor's finery, Bond. Ermm, oh crikey, yes sorry, James Bond. That is.

I think we've found a winner...

I'd prefer Clive Owen, bu McMahon was good as psycho Lieutenant Spears in Band of Brothers.

That MacMahon or whatever guy looks like the sort of chisel-chinned onanist you find hanging around fashion shows.

Whereas Clive Owen looks like he'd wander down the pub for a pint.
