I must admit that show made the blokes out to be calm and collective and the girls a bunch of arguing losers. Not one of them showed any degree of intelligence. That cheeky salesman was a good laugh.

I enjoyed that. Nice way to spend an hour.

The format is the same! However it is a bit different to the Donald Trump version.

Totally agree with both points.

It's a bunch of rejects from proper businesses that have seen this as a cheap and easy way into a top position.

I enjoyed it, but then I was a huge fan of the US series. There were a lot of people you wouldn't want to be stuck in a lift with, but entertaining none the less.

The big difference I noticed between UK and US versions is the calibre of contestants. Sorry, but a shop manager and a mature student are hardly the 'best entrepreneurs in Britain today'. Atleast the US version had people who were already self made millionaires.

One of the UK guys (the trader I believe) has a serious thing for Aston Martins, so I hope we get to see a bit more of that!

I saw 2 minutes of it, two twits trying to sell some overpriced weeds to another twit who should have told them to 'f**k off' the moment he opened the door, or set large hounds on them.

The woman who got fired last night deserved everything she got, IMHO. Let's look at the evidence:

1. The team were told to design one toy. She went for two.
2. The team voted against her "semaphore" idea once, she overruled them.
3. The panel of kids voted against her idea, she ignored them too.
4. The team voted against her idea AGAIN and once again she overruled them.

If these people are meant to be the "cream of British business" then god help us all.

:nod::nod: The worst type of person - didn't listen to anyone, took herself far too seriously, took a gamble when she was completely out of her depth.

If she had listened to the research and chosen the other toy and still lost at least she could have soad she believed in what they did. Then someone else would have got the boot.

She took a gamble when she didn't need to! They had clear research pointing in favour of the robot.

Lets look at the facts, the kids loved the robot - therefore the consultants that will decide the outcome are going to love the robot as well.

Then in the taxi she gave this speech about management skills - i just wanted to throw up.
