on the phone to him now and told him he should grow a beard like I have over the xmas period. I think he will look like a little gnome.

so, what do the PH masses think? Yes or no?

Won't it look like he's got his head on upside down?

A beard will make you look older than you already are, so dont do it

Most people are suprised when they find out I am 30 - I look much younger apparently

Shnozz just texted me a photo of him and his beard he looks like my dad!

Its distinguished.

It takes a true man to grow a beard. I always bottle out at the "armpit" stage.

It will certainly spoil his fun, as no-one will kiss him with a beard

Mungo mate, someone once said "do not cultivate on your face what grows naturally on your arse". If you have a winning formula, stick with it. Beards indicate you have something to hide.

I can thoroughly recommend a goatee provided it is neatly trimmed and you can grow it properly. A relative of mine has repeatedly attempted some facial furniture, and just can't manage it.

I've had one since my mid 20's, and can't imagine what I'd look like without it now...besides, it compensates for the hair on my head that seems to be deciding not to grow so much anymore...

Mungo, you could transplant the chin hair to your head
