Texting last Night

Did anyone else have terrible problems sending text Messages last night?

My phone refused to send any at all, and is still refusing to comply today. Not very pleased at all...

I could'nt send any, and I'm getting ones sent at 12am last night ... NOW!

No problems sending texts personally. But someone did...got one at 10.15 this morning, that was sent at midnight.

I was trying constantly for 20 mins last night, they started going through at about 12.40am

Well the airwaves were probably blocked with 20-30 million people all trying to text at once, around midnight................

True. Notice how many people sent/received texts way before midnight? Started receiving them from 9pm.

Yep, same here, dancing on tables till 4am. It's great fun isn't it!!!

I also struggled to send messages till about 1am then it was fine. My other managed to send me 6 messages (all the same) before 12.15 however!!!

Got one through off my mum pretty much dead on midnight!
Gave up sending texts in the end!

There was no signal where we were last night so texting was out of the question.

I was in Malta last night with my UK mobile. I sent texts to friends in Malta, Brussels, Amsterdam and various places in the UK. All the UK ones came up sending failed the others all went fine.

certainly doesn't make sense to invest millions in ramping up the network just for 1 hour a year. well, if people want this i'd charge a quid a text all year, that'll stop the whingers

was a nightmare - I couldnt send any - was receiving them in the early hours though from people who sent them at midnight.

I got one in the early hours of the morning that woke me up - don't know who it was from.

New Years resolution....switch off mobile before going to bed.
