"The Last American Hero" starring Jeff Bridges. This film is losely based on the career of Junior Johnston.

"Silver Dream Machine" starring David Essex. 70's Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

Make sure you watche the UK version. The US did not like the original ending and cut it by about 50 seconds. Recently watched it and the film ended early, felt cheated

Got it on VHS but cant find it on DVD.

Love the bit where the funny car blows up during a night race, music, sounds, atmosphere.
