Yes you've seen it a million times before, but you know you love it when Mr Caine says " you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off ! "

Ouch, I'd forgotten about the nice Muara(?) getting crunched at the start.

And name the race circuit featured. I've asked this before but I can't recall if anyone has answered yet.

The Italian Job is the best film ever. NO amount of artistic nonsense, liberal bollocks is going to tell me otherwise.

I've got a red one, and a blue one, one left to get. Mini's rule and that was a great way to finish 2004.

I heard it was supposed to be a 2 part film like Kill BIll which explains the ending? Anyone know if this is true?

The original script had a 'proper' ending, but it was rewritten to allow for a sequel.

Do tell! What was the original ending? Why wasn't the sequel ever made?

Does the new film follow on from the original and provide an ending to the original or is it completely unrelated regarding the story line of the original?

One ending was:

They get to Geneva to find the Mafia have Lorna and Peach. There were several endings written by Troy Kennedy-Martin. All of which are discussed in Matthew Field's book.

The sewer section is in fact just outside Coventry. Remy Julienne attempted to do a complete 360. He nearly succeeded on his 3rd attempt but hit a ledge and wrote the Mini off!

Petrol Ted was one of the football fans in Turin.

"Rozza is having trouble with his differential!"

Rozza is under the rear of a front wheel drive Mini!

Peter Collinson (the director) is on the back of the bus waving them in.

I think one proposed ending was that they got to Geneva, deposited the gold in a Swiss bank and were then introduced to the bank chairman - who turned out to be the Mafia guy with the Fiat Dino...
