I drive past this tree most days and have called it
the singing tree, I sent this pic to a friend who has asked me what it is singing. I just can't think, my wit and humor must be taking a break right now.

So please PHers "what could this tree be singing?"

Sonnet 2 (Back in ages past), Crash Test Dummies:

Sonnet2 said:
And back in ages past, when all was dark
A whirling chaos raged across the land
Survival of the cruelest left their mark
And evil came, and shook the hand of man

The brutal rampaged on their bloody way
The demons turned to gods, and gods to beasts
Unbroken cries of pain rang every day
While colder hearts prevailed, and sat to feast

And now these times approach us once again
No more will sing the solitary lark
The cruelest have returned, and they shall reign
In choking smoke and fire and endless dark

So if your heart is in it still, then stay
Remember, though, these are our final days

Leaf and Stream from "Argus".....Wishbone ASH.....

Find myself beside a stream of empty thought,
Like a leaf that’s fallen to the ground,
And carried by the flow of water to my dreams
Woken only by your sound.
(repeat)

Alone I’ve walked this path for many years,
Listened to the wind that calls my name.
The weeping trees of yesterday look so sad,
Await your breath of spring again.

Far beyond the hills,
Where earth and sky will meet again,
Are shadows like an opening hand.
Control the secrets
That I’ve yet to find, and wonder at
The light in which they stand.
(repeat)
