I thought as we haven't had a music thread for a while i'd start one!

Currently listening to Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas sing "Rest Stop" off the Mad Season album.

I know a few people on here know of Matchbox 20 but i'm surprised by the limited exposure they get over here. I know that Radio 2 used to play the latest album fairly often.

If you don't know Matchbox 20 I recommend you get hold of a copy of the single "Push" and see what you think!

So whats everyone else listening too?

(BTW - Belated Christmas greetings to one and all, and a Happy New Year for Saturday!)

If you like Matchbox 20 you might very well like Sister Hazel aswell. Try a search on your nearest friendly file sharing program.

Cheers,
Rob.

Would be listening to "Show of Hands" (West country folk(ish) duo) if the damn CD had arrived. The track "Country Life" is probably the best song I have heard for years.

check it out at www.showofhands.co.uk

Have Show of hands's live album at the Albert Hall from '92(???). Love it. Especially the second last track "Galway Faye" (???)(about the Cheltenham Gold Cup...guess it helps having my girlfriend living 200yds from the race track...no not in a stable.)

I saw Matchbox 20 when they supported Bon Jovi in 2001, didnt think too much of them. Then again the other support band werent up to much that night either, but when they're playing to 1000 not 65000 theyre awesome.'

Regards
Iain

I saw them live at wembley arena along with about seven other people, it was amazing, totally empty, I stood right at the front holding my lady back from tearing Robs pants off.
