The boys - aged nine, 11, and 15 - would not stop fighting, swearing and making obscene gestures, he said. He defended the decision to auction off the three systems, together with three games, by saying: "Teaching accountability is NEVER EVER EVER wrong." By late morning on Christmas day the bid for the items had reached $740, and the reserve price had been met. A new Nintendo DS system on its own retails for about $150 in the US. The sale ends on Monday.

a bit severe......but after trying to deal with a pair of squabbling daughters today (1 x 4 year old & 1 x 1.5 year old).....i know how he feels!

I think there are steps which could have been taken first before such a measure. The bloke clearly has no idea about the potential implications of his actions. Totally hysterical. Is he a bloody kid himself?

I think Santa should apply to be the new Home Secretary. He's obviously been keeping an extensive database of who's been naughty or nice - just what the Home Office wants.

Quite right, too.

Simple solution is to nail one foot to the floor (each, that is), then superglue their hands together.

They'd then be able to exercise (run round in circles), but not make rude gestures.

Why can't people think rationally?

You can't mention another user's name in your auction - even when they have done wrong and you are warning others to steer clear. Another reason I hate Ebay, I will never use it because there are far too many scammer buying/selling or ing it up for other people and Ebay are only interested in their profits and not the service they provide.
