My younger sister and family (live in Norfolk) were supposed to be going to my older sisters and family who live in eastbourne could not go as there car broke down, whilist ringing each other and talking about it and feeling sorry for my younger sis our oven broke at 8.00pm tonight, turns out its the gas regulating valve, I am sure my family are looking forward to chrimbo (and I also had an argument with her indoors) just have to get pi**ed then

I'm down at Julie's in Leicester: the plan was to leave home around 8 last night and have a leisurely cruise down. I was under orders to be here 'before xmas day'.
In the event I got held up by a few tasks and didn't leave till 10. One mad thrash later (150 miles of it!) and I ran into the flat and leapt into bed at 11:58.
Talk about cutting it fine.

Luckily all the traffic cars I saw were engaged on other activities, presumably involving tubes to blow down, apart from the one attending a car that had exited the M1 up an embankment, ar5e-first

And I've only just started on the first booze of xmas...
