People are getting more and more selfish. It pisses me off no end when people are late and don't seem to realise it until after they are late and still an hour away.

Most of the really rude people don't even realise what the problem is. When you pull them up about it they stare at you, trying to figure out what YOUR problem is. I'm inclined to be quite strict with them.

I'm a private hire (taxi) driver, and I'm proud to say that our set up are very punctual. I had a 16.30 pick up last evening, arrived at 16.25 and the girl was 10 minutes late coming out of work. Computer problems, the excuse etc. When we finally get on our way, she phones her 'nail technician' and tells her she'll be late for her 16.45 appointment because the taxi was late! Well she was definitely late. I stopped the car and kicked her out!

Excellent! I recall some of the crap I used to get as a cabbie... whankers, the public, only they don't realise it
