It would seem that everyone I've spoken to isn't really bothered about Christmas this year. Is anyone having a 'special' Christmas or have some heartwarming reason to enjoy Christmas?

C'mon share, I need some festive spirit.

ETA: a ?

The moment it starts snowing (later today, please), that "special" childhood feeling of naive innocent joy will burst forth.

If it doesn't, then tomorrow is Saturday.

No, sat in my office looking out at the grey skies suffering from lack of sleep caused by a serious case of "man flu".

Still, should have one or two empty roads to play on over the next few days........ If it's snowing, I'll nick my dad's 4WD..... So it's a win/win situation on the weather front.

Not looking forward to it at all...

It seems to become more of a drag every year too ..

I have realised that one of the things that bugs me is the present buying / recieving. My family is not that close so we all give each other generic gifts (DVD's/ cd's / socks etc) and it is a complete waste of time and effort as we don't know what each other likes...

It also bugs me that all the kiddies i get to buy for are girls...What fun is that?? i want to be buying boy's toys ..I know what boys like, I was one myself!

I want to show up with Radio contolled cars and things that go BANG, not 'my little bloody pony' and crap like that...

My mate has four sons and really looks forward to buying them stuff at xmas...another mate has three daughters and has a nightmare everytime

Do it anyway! Buy them remote controled Fezzers or TVR's. Girls love a sports car!

And I dont like christmas. I'd much sooner everybody was forced to buy themselves a present and show what they'd got for themselves, rather than buy other people tat. Plus my family dont approve of drinking much so that'll be 7 sober people sat around on a cold boring afternoon then......bugger

About the same here. Currently debating whether I should make a dash for the post office to pick up the 1 present I know has arrived, or wait and see if the other 3 that I've ordered that haven't got here yet turn up. Fecking post office.. All ordered well over a fortnight ago..
