Yeah, yeah, I know, boring as hell - but any electric oven technicians out there?

Our main fan oven packed up a couple of weeks ago - no heat and it blew the RCD in the garage. Bought a new element, got the wrong one, d'oh! Bought another (right one) and fitted it tonight. Blew the RCD again and now even the fan won't run - before the fan ran but no heat. The top oven and grill work fine. Took the whole thing out and dismantled as far as I could but no fuses or obvious problems.

Any advice??? Else it looks like it raw turkey for Xmas

Fan motor broken?
Not sure what else to suggest .. find a neighbour that's going out for lunch and use their oven!

Try changing the circuit its on or the RCD as they can be Hyper sensertive.

Check the power switch, it may be short circuiting due to moisture/dirt ingress.

On Christmas Eve - you're having a laugh! It is a dual oven, but the top one is a bit small.

Fan did work until I put in new element, now that's stopped.

Where do you get a new circuit?

Will check the power switch.
