Ah well, Air Algerie have cancelled my flight tomorrow 
. I've spent the bulk of this afternoon sat in our travel department trying to get my flights rearranged via Algiers so I can get home in time for Christmas.
Fingers crossed, it's done now after sorting out a couple of local flights and a couple of generous lads who offered to take a different flight so we could catch our connection
. A hire car from Heathrow instead of Gatwick 
(very little available which is not surprising really). So, barring any more hiccups I might actually make it in time otherwise it's Christmas in Algiers (at least it would be reasonably nice weather).
The other lad travelling with me is trying to get to Alaska for Christmas!!!!!
